Why does the connection box have no sound? Is HDMI and AV selected right?
The first thing to look for is what interface you choose, and then check if the source on the TV is selected correctly.
(1) AV cable connection
1. Check whether the AV composite line sequence corresponds to the TV interface one by one. (The Xiaomi official standard AV cable, the red and white plugs are audio plugs, and the yellow plugs are video plugs.) Note: The AV cable on the market may be different from the definition of the millet box, so please change the three plugs inserted in the TV.
2. Please check if "SPDIF output" is "OFF" first. The procedure is as follows: Settings -> Playback Settings -> SPDIF Output (since the SPDIF coaxial output uses the same output port as the analog stereo signal, if the SPDIF is turned on, the analog sound cannot be heard)
(2) HDMI cable connection
1. If you are using an HDMI cable to connect your TV, check if the port on your HDMI cable plugged into the TV is the same as the one set on the TV.
2. Some devices may not work properly due to electrostatic shock or surge voltage. Please re-plug the TV power socket to make the TV start cold.
3. Since the TV HDMI interface has not been used for a long time, the metal antennae have been oxidized. It is recommended to use an eraser to remove the TV HDMI interface oxide film.
4. Some TV sets have poor support for the current resolution. It is recommended to adjust the box output resolution in the box settings.
