In the first 4 months, China's LED exports to South Asia 8 countries exceeded 100 million US dollars
In this issue, we have compiled the situation of China's LED lighting products exported to countries along the “Belt and Road†countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal and Bhutan. Many of these countries are scenic tourist destinations such as the Maldives and Bhutan.
When developing tourism in these countries, the demand for lighting products is inevitable, so the LED lighting products market in these regions should not be underestimated.
The export value exceeds 100 million yuan
According to statistics, in the first four months of 2017, the total amount of LED lighting products exported to eight countries in South Asia reached US$106 million, a year-on-year increase of 45.01%.
India accounts for nearly 60% of the market
Among the eight South Asian countries, India accounted for the largest proportion, reaching 57.27%, an increase of 40.78% over the same period in 2016.
The country with the fastest year-on-year growth rate is Afghanistan, with a year-on-year growth rate exceeding 650%.
Only Sri Lanka’s import value fell by 19.52% year-on-year.
Bulbs have a 200% year-on-year growth rate
In January-April, 31.71% of the unspecified lamps were removed, and the bulbs, tube lamps and light bars were in the top three positions.
Bulbs ranked first with a total export value of US$22.37 million, an increase of 218.6% over the same period in 2016.
The second place is the tube lamp, with a total export value of 10.76 million US dollars, an increase of 49.69%.
The third place is the light bar, with a total export value of 8.28 million US dollars, an increase of 33.36%.
The countries with the largest number of imported LED lamps are Afghanistan, Pakistan and Maldives.
Sunshine wins the championship
From January to April 2017, China's LED lighting products exported “One Belt, One Roadâ€, and there were 1255 enterprises in the eight countries of South Asia. The top 30 enterprises exported a total of 40.34 million US dollars, accounting for 38%.
The top ten companies are shown in the chart below. The total exports of the top ten companies are 18.04 million US dollars, accounting for only 17%.
