Global industrial robot industry development model
What path should China's robot industry take and how to establish its own development model? It is indeed worth exploring. The Chinese Academy of Engineering believes that China should proceed from the "American model" in the "Study Report on the Status Quo and Development Strategy of China's Manufacturing Welding Production", and gradually approach the "Japanese model" after the conditions are ripe.
Throughout the process of developing the industrial robot industry in the world, it can be summarized into three different development modes, namely the Japanese model, the European model and the American model.
Japanese model
The Japanese model is characterized by: performing various duties and completing the turnkey project at different levels. That is, robot manufacturers are mainly engaged in the development of new types of robots and mass production of quality products, and their subsidiaries or social engineering companies design and manufacture robotic complete systems required by various industries and complete turnkey projects.
European model
The European model is characterized by a turnkey project. That is, the production of the robot and the system design and manufacture required by the user are all completed by the robot manufacturer itself.
American model
The American model is characterized by a combination of procurement and package design. The United States basically does not produce ordinary industrial robots. Enterprises need robots to be imported by engineering companies, and then design and manufacture matching peripheral equipment to complete turnkey projects.
