The equipment in the area is still quite numerous, because my movie is mostly 1080P or even 4K, so my request for the LAN is still quite high, and Gigabit is a must.
At the end of 2015, I had planned to change my house, but I didn't know what the situation was. The house of the demons began to skyrocket in November. Because it was a replacement, it was necessary to sell the old house first, so it was not so fast, and it immediately followed the New Year. The house has not yet been sold. The house I fancy has soared from 500W to 750W. It is almost five months before and after. One month of the New Year, during which the budget rises and rises again. Then there is no more, and I cannot afford it. Stay live. So originally intended to buy a house and then engage in a home network, now since it does not change, then find a time to take care of the family. Let me talk about the current equipment:
1, HP Gen8 red disk 4T4 GigaLan2, this machine can be aggregated, but for me this home is completely unnecessary (in fact, is poor, support for the aggregation of the router is too expensive, the aunt of this test ASUS support aggregation router does not get )
2, MiniPC Giga-lan1, installed for her daughter to learn, msata solid state drive installed system, 500G notebook hard drive learning materials, and then synchronized to the above Gen8 through BTsync inside.
3. The first generation of millet routers, GigaLan2, was bought when it was first released. The result was unsatisfactory. Although it was a Gigabit network, the transmission speed was so low that it crashed. I was originally worried that there was too much speed in the LAN, so I set up the WNDR4300 to be a wired bridge, so that the millet router is the second level, which is used for remote download. And because the wired lan interface is not enough, like Gen8 and Onespace can only be connected to a LAN, can not access the two LAN, such as the above miniPC want to access one space is difficult, and the millet box can not access Gen8 multimedia. The WNDR4300 does not perform bridging. As a secondary main route, the Telecom cat is only responsible for dial-up Internet access. The WNDR4300 serves as the main route and is responsible for some rules in the LAN and the main router for wireless connection. The 2.4G and 5G are enabled for use on mobile phones, laptops, and ipads. In addition, because the Xiaomi router detects that there is a device connection, it will wake up the hard disk. On the desktop, it is noisy at night. So I set up the Xiaomi router to shut down at 24:00 in the evening and turn it on at 9:00 in the next morning (to the company, If there is a download task, it can be assigned to it); and One Space and Gen8, if not accessed in the LAN, the hard disk will automatically sleep, plus on the cabinet compartment below, so the sound is almost inaudible, not as good as I gave the sound of a quiet fan inside the cabinet (because several devices are crowded together, so it still emits a lot of heat, I assigned them to the idle USB fan, plugged into the USB interface behind one space, 24 hours.)
