In terms of luminous efficiency, incandescent lamps are less than 20 lm/W. Therefore, many countries in the world have established production cut-off and banned specifications for incandescent lamps. In addition, although fluorescent lamps have luminous efficiencies of 100 lm/W, it is estimated that by 2016, the luminous efficiency of fluorescent lamps will not increase or change significantly. The scale will grow 2.5 times compared to 2009. Therefore, the application of LEDs in general lighting products is more energy-efficient, and its future market development is worth looking forward to. At present, the price of LED lighting is still about 10 times away from the target set by the US Department of Energy.
