On the projector side, the microwhales entered the projection industry in October last year and released the first product, the Microwhale K1. The industry’s first autofocus for one second was learned by many similar products. Why would the invasion of the projection industry impact the existing smart TV business? For this issue, Zhang Guidong said, "At present, the smart projection product still belongs to a category education period. It is larger than the smart TV screen size, and it also does not occupy space for easy movement. It can be said that the smart TV is a good scene supplement."
The micro-whale discovered through investigation that when people move new houses, the living room has both televisions, curtains, and projectors. "I believe that in the long run, each family in the future can have a smart projection, and everyone has their own big-screen entertainment device," Zhang Guidong said optimistically.
It is understood that micro-whales have also planned to invest in or acquire companies that have done relatively well in the field of micro-investment, but in the end they decided to develop their own products, mainly because the market is still cultivating long-term development, and there is great room for future development; Smart projection products involve many manufacturing processes, including circuits, IDs, structures, thermal design, and batteries. The micro whale's laser projection has already had smart micro projection on the road, and the next goal of the micro whale is laser projection. Just two or three years ago, laser projection was still regarded as a "concept" to some extent; today, the industry has seen lasers as the key point for a new rise in the global projection market, and the laser projector market is fast. Expansion has become an irreversible trend. Under this general trend, it is natural for the micro-whale to launch laser projection in order to improve the projection product line.
“Because the development cycle of this type of product is relatively long (8-10 months), the most optimistic estimate for high-brightness products of micro-whales will have to wait until the end of this year or next year.” Zhang Guidong did not specify that the next generation of micro-whales should be high. The light projection must use laser light source, but judging from the industry pattern and trend, the laser projection should be consistent.
In addition to product planning, Zhang Guidong also talked about the development of new technologies, such as the current AR (Augmented Reality Technology).
