MSI pushes TriDefVR to play 900 games in theater mode in VR

The hardware company offers a range of products for VR, such as high-end graphics cards, VR-Ready gaming PCs, notebooks, and even VR backpack PCs. Now, this company is providing VR-related software to enhance the VR experience, but only if you need MSI hardware.
MSI is working with TriDef (its software can convert regular 3D games to build 3D games) and develops a dedicated software for VR headsets. With Vive or Rift heads, TriDef VR lets you play "more than 900" games in stereoscopic 3D.
TriDef VR is not a VR injection driver, unlike Vereio Perception or VorpX. TriDef VR is more like the theater mode in PSVR, or Valve's desktop game theater mode provided in Steam VR. This allows you to play all regular games in a virtual flat screen, but unlike theater modes and tabletop theater modes, TriDef VR adds immersion to the game by enabling stereoscopic 3D.
TriDef VR provides a head tracking user interface. The software also allows you to customize the screen size and distance, as well as the curvature of the display (BigScreen offers the same choice). MSI also announced Nahimic VR. The software can improve the stereo experience of the virtual experience, virtualizing the 7.1 surround sound experience with a 360-degree sound field. Now that MSI's latest version of Dragon Center software has integrated Nahimic VR technology, gamers can start the technology in the application, provided they have the corresponding hardware.
In addition to Nahimic VR, MSI also launched Nahimic 2+ for all gamers, not just VR players. Nahimic 2+ allows you to create audio files for all your games and lets you customize your audio experience.
You must have at least one MSI hardware to access TriDef VR, Nahimic VR, or Nahimic 2+.
The limitations of audio software are well understood. Nahimic is MSI's emphasis on audio technology. They have been providing Nahimic software since 2015. However, we do not agree with TriDef VR also take the same approach.
TriDef 3D supports all PCs as long as you have a 3D display. But TriDef VR is not like this. If you want to use TriDef VR, you must have a MSI certified hardware component. If you own MSI's VR-Ready PC, notebook or VR backpack PC, you have such qualifications. MSI also accepts the ownership of motherboards and graphics cards, but only includes the latest models.
If your MSI motherboard uses an Intel 200 or 100 series chipset, or an AMD AM4 interface, you can use TriDef VR. Or maybe you are using MSI's GeForce 10 series graphics card, and you qualify. But if your motherboard is an older version or is a 10 series card from other brands, you cannot use TriDef VR. MSI doesn't even accept any AMD Radeon. If you are using MSI RX 480, you still cannot use this software.
However, seeing the emergence of technologies such as TriDef VR is still exciting, but unfortunately MSI has limited the use of software and cut off other small VR markets.
