The R&S RTO-K40 MIPI RFFE interface trigger and decode option is powerful. With this option, developers of RF front-end developers and RF front-end control interface modules can easily verify and debug their designs. With the high waveform capture rate and minimized dead time of the RTO oscilloscope , the protocol signal can be triggered stably. At the same time, the decoded content format is clear and concise, easy for developers to read.
Today, advanced smartphones commonly use the MIPI Alliance's standardized serial RFFE bus to control the RF front end. Rohde & Schwarz pays attention to the industry's need for rapid testing and analysis of MIPI RFFE interfaces, and introduces the RTO-K40 option based on the high-performance oscilloscope RTO series. And, the K40 option offers the industry's only automated glitch rejection.
The R&S RTO-K40 option allows developers to trigger directly on the MIPI RFFE protocol, for example for the data content "Extended Register Write" or the error status "Bus Park Error". At the same time, it is also the automatic glitch rejection function specified in the only support agreement on the market.
Powerful search capabilities give developers the flexibility to observe long-term signals and quickly find locations of interest. Thus, the user can easily isolate the desired state, quickly locate design defects, and time-dependent decoding instructions in the circuit under test. The R&S RTO oscilloscope allows decoding of up to four parallel protocol signals, and any interaction between modules can be quickly detected. Both the analog channel and the digital channel of the oscilloscope can be connected to the MIPI RFFE interface for measurement.
The MIPI RFFE interface has been developed by the MIPI Alliance to control the components of the RF front end, such as output amplifiers, filters, power management and sensors.
