Supor: foreign trade sales soared by 30%

Supor (002032.SZ) announced its annual results report today, said that due to the rapid growth of foreign trade sales, the company's net profit in 2010 reached 400 million yuan, an increase of 30.44%.

According to the announcement, thanks to the high growth rate of 46.67% in foreign trade sales, Supor achieved an operating income of 5.622 billion yuan last year, a year-on-year increase of 36.60%. Among them, due to the shift in the company's major shareholder SEB orders, sales to SEB companies grew rapidly, an increase of 60.20% year-on-year. However, due to the increase in purchase prices of aluminum ingots and stainless steel, the main raw materials used by the company during the reporting period, the gross profit margin decreased by 3.06% year-on-year, which ultimately led to the total profit growth in the current period was lower than the increase in revenue.
