The main content is: According to the requirements of the "Industrial Policy of the Automotive Industry", the former Ministry of Machinery Industry has defined automobile safety, pollution control and energy-saving performance as the core of automobile product management, and has issued 12 articles in the "Automobile Catalogue" management. 25 mandatory standards. In addition, in the safety management of vehicle operation, the State Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Communications and other departments have revised and completed GB7258-1997 "Safety Technical Conditions for Motor Vehicle Operation". Regardless of the new car or the car in use, the lighting and signalling devices involved in vehicle safety lighting are implemented in accordance with GB4785-84 "Number, Position and Light Color of Exterior Lighting Devices for Automobiles and Trailers". The notice pointed out that since GB4785-84 has been released for a long time, it needs to be further tightened in some aspects. The automobile industry has implemented the national compulsory standards, tracked the development of international automobile regulations, and proposed a plan to amend GB4785-84 in 1993 according to the national standardization work procedures. The State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision has approved the project. After several years of research and verification, this standard has been reviewed and approved by the Automotive Lighting Subcommittee and is now undergoing approval. The revised GB4785-84 puts more stringent requirements on brake lights, hazard warning signals, front fog lights, rear fog lights, side marker lights, and studies the necessary preparation period to provide technical and production preparation for enterprises.
