At present, there are various wired transmission methods for smart homes, such as X-10 of power carrier and CEBUS, EIB, C-Bus, LonWorks, SCS, RS-485, CAN and other buses, and protocol control for other peripheral devices. Many users believe that wired transmission is not only stable but also more secure than wireless. However, wired transmission requires cable routing, and the installation process is complicated. Therefore, it is also a shortcoming of wired transmission. Of course, each of these implementations has its own characteristics, and different transmission modes need to be selected according to different data transmission rates and data transmission ranges.
