The goal of the "Broadband China Strategy" research working group and the expert group is to study and formulate the "Broadband China Strategy" implementation plan (hereinafter referred to as the "implementation plan"), including the overall thinking, development goals, major tasks, roadmap, and timetable. The working group is composed of the leaders and members of the State Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the State Administration of Taxation, and the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television. The team leaders include Ruan Chengyuan, Director of the High Technology Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Zhang Feng, Director of the Communications Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The main responsibilities of the expert group are: Under the guidance of the working group, organize and carry out research on major issues related to the development of broadband networks in China. Among them, an advisory group and a document drafting group are set up, which are responsible for the review and preparation, modification and improvement of the implementation plan. It is reported that the working group and the group of experts initially planned to complete the "implementation plan" research work in about half a year, mainly including the establishment of an organization, investigation and research, drafting of documents, argumentation by experts, and solicitation of opinions.

It is a perfect combination of large-scale semiconductor integrated circuit technology and light source technology, and has great potential for continued development. At present, there are amorphous, polycrystalline and monocrystalline silicon TFT-LCDs. In the future, there will be TFTs of other materials, including glass substrates and plastic substrates.
