Datong University's Quantum Group pushes TOSHIBA's complete solution for smartphones
On August 6, 2015, Dalian United Holdings, a leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia-Pacific market, announced that it has launched Toshiba's complete solution for smartphones and other handheld applications. Includes higher performance CMOS image sensor, digital camera module, FRC Plus image processing technology, Near Field Communication Technology TransferJetTM, Fast Wireless Charging Solution, Near Field Communication (NFC) Chipset, Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Integrated Single Chip , ApP-LiteTM (Lite Application Processor) and interface bridge chip to meet the needs of any smart phone, tablet and a variety of portable mobile electronic devices.

To meet the needs of market miniaturization and higher performance, Toshiba has developed CMOS area array sensors. Toshiba's CMOS area array image sensor will be marketed by superior technology such as high dynamic range (HDR) for smooth and clear video, higher sensitivity color reduction (CNR) and back-illuminated (BSI) sensors Open up new opportunities. These image sensors are capable of high image quality thanks to advanced CMOS sensor technologies such as microlens and photodiode optimization. Toshiba CMOS area array sensors have multiple resolutions from VGA to over 10 million pixels, and pixel pitches from 1.12μm to 5.6μm, suitable for smartphones, tablets, security surveillance and car cameras.
