Liang Feng, director of audio and video products division of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that the audiovisual industry is an important part of China’s electronic information industry. Hao Yabin, vice president of the China Electronics Video Industry Association, introduced that the penetration of smart TVs is constantly improving. According to data monitoring, the penetration of smart TVs has exceeded 10% in August this year. The penetration of LED-backlit TVs, 3D TVs, and smart TVs is expected to exceed 45%, 25% and 10% respectively this year.
