The input circuit includes a microphone amplifier and automatic volume control (ALC) circuitry. The output circuit includes a capacitorless headphone amplifier and speaker amplifier. The integrated charge pump circuit produces a negative Voltage, so the output does not require AC coupling capacitors, operating voltage 0.9V-5.5V, mainly used in portable devices with recording and playback capabilities.
